Ernesto Shaw (born January 8, 1975), better known asDJ Clue (often stylized asDJ Clue?),[2] is an Americandisc jockey (DJ), record producer, radio personality and record executive.

Early life

DJ Clue was born inQueens, New York City toPanamanian andJamaican immigrants.[3]

Career

DJ Clue has his own program, titled "Desert Storm Radio", every Monday to Friday 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, onPower 105.1 in New York.[2][4] Prior to this, he disc-jockeyed atHot 97, until 2006.[5][6][7][8]

In 1998, DJ Clue foundedDesert Storm Records, a record label, with his childhood friends Skane Dolla (manager) and recording engineerKen Duro Ifill.[9]

In 1999, DJ Clue took part in the Hard Knock Life Tour, including a stop in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre.[10]

In 2005, DJ Clue appeared as himself in the video gameGrand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, hosting a fictional hip-hop radio stationThe Liberty Jam.
