Džiugas Bartkus (born 7 November 1989) is a Lithuanian professionalfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper for Bahraini clubAl-Riffa and theLithuania national team.
He started his career withFBK Kaunas in 2008. During 2010 and 2011, he was loaned to Belarusian clubsPartizan Minsk andDinamo Brest.
From 2012 to 2015, Džiugas formed part ofSudūva, a club based in the city of Marijampolė, Lithuania, where he made a total of 83 appearances.
In July 2016, Bartkus joined Maltese clubValletta on a one-year contract.
On 9 July 2017, he returned to Lithuania, when he signed a long-term contract withA Lyga championsŽalgiris.[1]
On 12 June 2023, Bartkus joined Saudi Arabian clubAl-Orobah.[2]
On 12 July 2024, Bartkus moved toAl-Bukiryah.[3]
On 27 July 2025, Bartkus moved toAl-Riffa.[4]
In 2015, he was called intoLithuania squad for theirUEFA Euro 2016 qualifying matches againstEngland andSlovenia.[5]
On 5 June 2018, he made a debut in theLithuania national team in a 1–1 draw againstLatvia in a Baltic Cup final.[6]
