International football delegation
As theCzech Republic along withSlovakia are considered to be the successor team ofCzechoslovakia byFIFA andUEFA , they have participated in elevenUEFA European Championships ; three as Czechoslovakia and eight as the Czech Republic. As Czechoslovakia, they became Europeanchampions in1976 . As the Czech Republic, they have qualified for every European Championship that they have played qualifiers for and wererunners-up atEuro 1996 .
