Cycadeoidaceae is a family ofbennettitalean plants which flourished in the Mesozoic era. Two genera,Cycadeoidea andMonanthesia, are currently recognised though most species are poorly known.[1] They had a similar morphology tocycads, with thick, branchless trunks covered inscale leaves.
