Daughter of Laertes, sister of Odysseus

InGreek mythology,Ctimene (/ˈtɪmɪni/TIM-in-ee;[1]Ancient Greek:Κτιμένη,romanizedKtiménē,Ancient Greek pronunciation:[ktiménɛː]) was anIthacan princess as the daughter of KingLaertes andAnticlea, and wife ofEurylochus.

Family

Ctimene was the younger sister ofOdysseus, thelegendary king ofIthaca and is the wife of Eurylochus.[2]

Mythology

Ctimene was raised by her parents alongside the servantEumaeus who was treated almost as her equal. She was married off toEurylochus of Same for a massivebride price.[3][4] Her husband accompanied Odysseus on his journey fromTroy but, like all of Odysseus's men, died before reaching home.
