The Crystal 23 is a recreationalkeelboat, built predominantly ofglassfibre, with wood trim. It has amasthead sloop rig, a spoonedraked stem, an angledtransom, a transom-hungrudder controlled by atiller and a fixed finkeel with a weighted bulb or optionalbilge keels. It displaces 3,000 lb (1,361 kg) and carries 830 lb (376 kg) of iron ballast.[1][3]
