TheCrooked River is a 58.0-mile-long (93.3 km)[1]tributary of theSongo River inMaine. It is the longest of the tributaries ofSebago Lake, the outlet of which is thePresumpscot River, flowing toCasco Bay on theAtlantic Ocean.
The Crooked River rises at the outlet of Songo Pond in the unorganized territory ofSouth Oxford inOxford County, near the eastern end of theWhite Mountain National Forest. It flows southeast through the towns ofWaterford,Norway,Otisfield,Harrison inCumberland County,Naples, andCasco, reaching the Songo River 1.0 mile (1.6 km) south of that river's source at the outlet of Brandy Pond and 2.1 miles (3.4 km) upstream from the mouth of the Songo in Sebago Lake.
