TheCritérium du Québec (also known as theRally of Canada) was arally competition that was part of theWorld Rally Championship from1977 to1979. Critérium du Québec wasCanada's second WRC event after theRally of the Rideau Lakes, which was part of the calendar in1974.
The5ème Critérium Molson du Québec was the first edition of the rally on the World Rally Championship schedule.Fiat took a double win with its131 Abarth both in 1977 and 1978, first withTimo Salonen andSimo Lampinen and a year later withWalter Röhrl andMarkku Alén. The 1979 event, won byBjörn Waldegård in aFord Escort RS1800, was the rally's final appearance in the WRC.
