Cretomorgus ikhbogdensis is an extinct, fossilspecies ofhide beetle that lived in modern-day Mongolia during theLower Cretaceous, approximately 112 million years ago, making it the earliest preserved species of the subfamilyOmorginae.[1]C. ikhbogdensis is the sole species of the genusCretomorgus.[2]
