Craig Headwaters Protected Area is aprotected area located in theStikine Region ofBritish Columbia,Canada. It was established on January 25, 2001 to protect theCraig River Valley from the Alaskan border to its confluence with theIskut River.
The park protects a representative example of aCoastal Western Hemlock forest ecosystem. Giant specimens ofSitka spruce, up to 60 meters tall, are present. Uncommon plant communities are found near cool springs.[2] The area also has some of the northernmostwestern red cedar in British Columbia.[3]
