Cotton Town is anunincorporated community andcensus-designated place (CDP) inBlair County,Pennsylvania, United States. It was first listed as a CDP prior to the2020 census.[2]
The CDP is in southern Blair County, in the southeastern part ofGreenfield Township. It is in the valley of Smoky Run, at the intersection of Cottontown/Lower Claar Road with Pine Hollow/Schellsburg Road. It is 2 miles (3 km) southwest ofClaysburg via Pine Hollow Road.Altoona is 20 miles (32 km) to the north.[4] Smoky Run is a southeastward-flowing tributary of Beaverdam Creek, one of the headwaters of theFrankstown Branch of theJuniata River, part of theSusquehanna River watershed.
