Tribe of palms

Corypheae is atribe ofpalm trees^[1]^[2] in thesubfamily Coryphoideae.^[3] In previous classifications, tribe Corypheae included foursubtribes: Coryphinae, Livistoninae, Thrinacinae and Sabalinae,^[4] but recentphylogenetic studies have led to the genera within these subtribes being transferred into other tribes (Chuniophoeniceae,Trachycarpeae,Cryosophileae andSabaleae).^[5]^[6] Tribe Corypheae is now restricted to the genusCorypha alone.^{[citation needed]}
