Corteno Golgi (Italian:[ˈkortenoˈɡɔldʒi];Camunian:Còrten[ˈkɔrtɛn]) is an Italian village andcomune (municipality) in theVal Camonica area ofcentral Alps innorthern Italy, administratively in theprovince of Brescia,Lombardy.

Formerly known as simplyCorteno, the name of the village was changed in 1956 after the memory of scientistCamillo Golgi, who was born there in 1843 and was the first Italian to be awarded with theNobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1906. The town houses a museum dedicated to his work.
