To the North of the village is an old quarry that is registered as aZone naturelle d'intérêt écologique, faunistique et floristique.[6] The Quarry contains the only known population ofPolytrichum pallidisetum, a type of Hair cap moss, inLower Normandy and the rarereindeer cup lichen[7]
