Copernicus (Polish:Kopernik) is a 1973 Polishhistorical film directed byEwa Petelska andCzesław Petelski.[1] The film was entered into the8th Moscow International Film Festival where it won the Silver Prize.[2] It was also selected as the Polish entry for theBest Foreign Language Film at the46th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.[3]
