TheCooks Vale Creek, a mostly–perennial river[2] that is part of theLachlan sub-catchment of theMurrumbidgeecatchment within theMurray–Darling basin, is located in theSouth Western Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia.
Formed by theconfluence of two unnamed watercourses, the Cooks Vale Creek (technically a river[2]) rises southwest of Hadley, on the south western slopes of theGreat Dividing Range, and flows generally northwest by north before reaching itsconfluence with theAbercrombie River east ofTuena.
