TheConnecticut Pride (from 1993 to 1994 theHartford Hellcats) were an Americanprofessional basketball team based inHartford, Connecticut, that was a member of theContinental Basketball Association (CBA). They played in Hartford from 1993 to 2000, primarily at the ConnecticutState Arsenal and Armory, and also at theHartford Civic Center and theUniversity of Hartford Sports Center.[1] Its final season, from 2000 to 2001, was played at theNew Haven Coliseum.

The team was previously known as theAlbany Patroons,Capital Region Pontiacs, andHartford Hellcats. With the collapse of the CBA during the 2000/01 season, the team joined theInternational Basketball League.
