SenSys, theACM Conference on Embedded Networked Sensor Systems, is an annualacademic conference in the area ofembedded networked sensors.
ACM SenSys is a selective, single-track forum for the presentation of research results onsystems issues in the area ofembedded networked sensors. The conference provides a venue to address the research challenges facing thedesign,deployment, use, and fundamental limits of these systems.Sensor networks require contributions from many fields, fromwireless communication andnetworking,embedded systems andhardware,distributed systems,data management, andapplications. SenSys welcomes cross-disciplinary work.
Although there is no official ranking ofacademic conferences onwireless sensor networks, SenSys is widely regarded by researchers as one of the two (along withIPSN) most prestigious conferences focusing onsensor network research. SenSys focuses more on system issues whileIPSN on algorithmic and theoretical considerations. Theacceptance rate for 2017 was 17.2% (26 out of 151 papers accepted for publication).
