Rhodostrophia vibicaria, thecommon pink-barred,[3] is amoth of the familyGeometridae.[1][2][4][5] The species can be found in thePalearctic realm,[6] including North Africa[7] and most of Europe.[1]
The length of the forewings is 14–16 mm. In theNetherlands, the moths fly in one or two generations from the end of May to early September.[7]
The larvae feed on various plants and shrubs, such as species ofCytisus,Genista,Prunus,Calluna,[7] andViscaria.[5]
