TheColumbus Fury are a women's professionalindoor volleyball team based inColumbus, Ohio, that competes inMajor League Volleyball (MLV). The Fury began play in the league's inaugural2024 season. The team plays their home games atNationwide Arena.
On February 17, 2023, it was announced that Columbus would be one of the cities to get aPro Volleyball Federation franchise for the league's inaugural season.[1] The Fury name, logo and colors were unveiled on April 12.[2]
On November 13, 2023, it was announced thatCincinnati Bengals quarterbackJoe Burrow, his fatherJim Burrow and mother Robin Burrow were joining the Fury's ownership group.[3]
