This list ranks the273 active incorporated municipalities[1] of theU.S.State of Colorado by population as ofJuly 1, 2024, as estimated by theUnited States Census Bureau.[2] This list also details municipal population changes since the2000 United States census and includes a gallery of the 20 most populous Colorado municipalities.

With a 2024 population estimate of 729,019 residents, theCity and County of Denver remains the most populous municipality in Colorado as it has since its original incorporation on December 3, 1859.[a] TheTown of Carbonate remains with no year-round residents as it has since the1890 United States census.[a] Colorado now has 12 cities with more than 100,000 residents, and 18 towns with fewer than 100 residents.[a]
