ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park (tla-hut-um, formerly known asColony Farm Regional Park), is apark along theCoquitlam River in theTri-Cities area ofMetro Vancouver. It is 260 hectares in size. Colony Farm was once one of the most modern and productive workingfarms inCanada. Today, ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park provides important habitat for many animal species and over 200 bird species.[1] On July 1, 2023, theKwikwetlem First Nation and Metro Vancouver Regional District announced that the park would be renamed to ƛ̓éxətəm, which translates into "be invited".[2]
