Pan American Games appearances (overview)

Colombia competed at the2023 Pan American Games inSantiago,Chile from October 20 to November 5, 2023. This wasColombia's 19th appearance at thePan American Games, having competed at every Games since the inaugural edition in 1951.

Taekwondo athleteMiguel Trejos and boxerYeni Arias were the country's flagbearers during theopening ceremony.[1] Meanwhile, squash athleteMiguel Ángel Rodríguez and roller speed skaterFabriana Arias were the country's flagbearers during theclosing ceremony.

AsBarranquilla was supposed to be host the2027 Pan American Games, a Colombian segment was performed at the closing ceremony. However, in January 2024, Barranquilla were stripped from hosting rights.Lima inPeru, who hosted the2019 Pan American Games, would replace Barranquilla.
