Colm GildernewMLA (born 27 June 1969) is an IrishSinn Féin politician, serving as aMember of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) forFermanagh and South Tyrone since June 2017.[1]
Gildernew was co-opted to theNorthern Ireland Assembly in June 2017, followingMichelle Gildernew’s election to theHouse of Commons at the2017 general election.
He retained his seat at the2022 Assembly election.
Gildernew is the older brother ofMichelle Gildernew, a former MLA forFermanagh and South Tyrone, and is a formerMP for theFermanagh and South Tyrone Westminster constituency from 2017 to 2024.
