Collabora Ltd is a privateopen-source software consulting company headquartered inCambridge, United Kingdom, with an additional office inMontreal. It provides consulting, training, and product development services to organizations using open-source technologies.[2]

Collabora is best known for developingCollabora Online, anonline office suite that enables collaborative editing in a browser, and Collabora Office, a desktop officeproductivity software suite. Both are based onLibreOffice and marketed asopen-source alternatives to proprietary platforms such asMicrosoft 365 andGoogle Workspace. These products are developed and maintained by the company'sCollabora Productivity division, which is one of the largest contributors to the LibreOffice codebase.[3][4][5]

Originally focused oninstant messaging,Voice over IP (VoIP), andvideoconferencing, Collabora has since expanded into areas including multimedia, web technologies, graphics optimization, extended reality (XR),automotive infotainment, andproductivity software for enterprise and government use.[6][7]
