He joinedRoyal Antwerp of theBelgian First Division on loan in January 2003; he played 13 league games in the2003–04 season, but saved his goalscoring forfriendly matches.[3] He then joinedFootball League Two sideCambridge United on a month's loan in late 2004, and made his English first-team debut on 7 December in a 2–1 defeat at home toScunthorpe United.[4] He spent the first half of the 2005–06 season on loan toSwindon Town, but scored only once, againstYeovil Town in his home league debut, and struggled to maintain a first-team place.[5]

He returned to Manchester United in January 2006 and was released, to joinChesterfield until the end of the season.[2][6] He moved on toMacclesfield Town, linking up with former Manchester United colleagueTommy Lee,[7] but was released by managerPaul Ince after just one season.[8] In September 2007, after an extended trial withChester City, he signed forFarsley Celtic of theConference National.[9] Heath struggled to hold down a first-team place due to the form of Damien Reeves.[citation needed] After a handful of appearances, including helping Farsley to reach the last 16 of theFA Trophy for the first time,[10] he left the club.
