Cole Butcher (born August 31, 1996) is a Canadian professionalstock car racing driver. He competes full-time in theNASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 13Ford F-150 forThorSport Racing.

Racing career

Butcher has previously competed in series such as theCARS Pro Late Model Tour, where he won a race atHickory Motor Speedway in 2023,[1] the ASA STARS National Tour, where he currently has seven wins and a best points finish of second in 2023 as of 2025[update],[2] the ASA CRA Super Series, theNASCAR Weekly Series, and the ASA Southern Super Series.[3] He is also a former winner of the Oxford 250, having previously won it in 2022 and 2023.[4][5]

On August 10, 2025, it was announced that Butcher would attempt to make his debut in theNASCAR Craftsman Truck Series atBristol Motor Speedway, driving the No. 62Toyota forHalmar Friesen Racing.[6][7][8][9] He started in 21st and finished two laps down in 23rd. In October of that year, it was revealed that Butcher would run with the team atPhoenix Raceway.[10]

In 2026, it was revealed that Butcher would participate in the pre-season test for theARCA Menards Series atDaytona International Speedway, driving the No. 30Ford forRette Jones Racing,[11][12] where he set the ninth quickest time between the two sessions held.[13][14][15] A week later, it was announced that he will run full-time in the Truck Series for the2026 season, driving the No. 13Ford forThorSport Racing.[16]

Personal life

Butcher is the brother of Jarrett Butcher, who also competes in racing.[17] He is also the son of Darrin and Ann Butcher, the owners of Atlantic Tiltload.[18][19]
