Writing for the showShe-Hulk: Attorney at Law got him into writing for Marvel and, in 2021, he did a backup story inMiles Morales: Spider-Man #25,[3] before he was announced as one of the writers for the "Spider-Man: Beyond" arc (fromAmazing Spider-Man vol. 5 #75 to #93), alongsideZeb Wells,Kelly Thompson,Saladin Ahmed, andPatrick Gleason.[4][5]
In January 2022, he and artist Justin Mason were announced to be the creative team for the newSpider-Punk mini-series[6] and in June, he wrote two issues ofWhat If...? Miles Morales.[7] In September, it was announced that Ziglar and artist Federico Vicentini would relaunchMiles Morales: Spider-Man after the previous run bySaladin Ahmed ended.[8][9][10] In 2023, he co-wrote theCarnage Reigns crossover withAlex Paknadel[11] and, at San Diego Comic-Comic, it was announced he would write a part of the "Gang War" crossover that involvedAmazing Spider-Man,Spider-Woman, andDaredevil.[12][13] In June 2024, he participated in the "Blood Hunt" crossover, where Miles was turned into a vampire.[14][15]
In 2024, he and Justin Mason reunited to do a sequel to their Spider-Punk comic,Spider-Punk: Arms Race.[16][17][18] It was also announced that Ziglar and artist Rogê Antônio would be the next creative team for theDeadpool relaunch in April 2024.[19][20][21] The book involved Ellie, Deadpool's daughter, and the introduction of a new villain, Death Grip.[22] In June, the "Death of Deadpool" arc was announced[23][24] with Deadpool dying in issue #6 and Ellie taking over as the new Deadpool in issue #7.[25][26] In November, it was announced that Ziglar'sMiles Morales andDeadpool comics would cross over with each other in a story called "Pools of Blood."[27][28] It was also announced that he would be one of the writers for theFree Comic Book Day: Amazing Spider-Man/Ultimate Universe issue.[29][30][31]
In 2024, he also wrote and releasedGoobers, a horror-comedy comic, throughVault Comics.[32][33]
Ziglar was born and raised in a "super small rural community" namedPine Hall,North Carolina. He got his MFA in Film & Television Production from Savannah College of Art & Design and interned atAdult Swim.[34][35]
