Code page 1102 (CCSID 1102),[1] also known asCP1102 orNL7DEC,[2] is anIBM code page number assigned to theDutch variant ofDEC'sNational Replacement Character Set (NRCS).[3] The 7-bit character set was introduced for DEC'scomputer terminal systems, starting with theVT200 series in 1983, but is also used by IBM for their DEC emulation. It is calledDUTCH byKermit.[4]
Although NL7DEC complies with theISO 646 invariant layout (and is hence a close derivation fromASCII, with only nine code points differing), it is not ISO646-NL, which is otherwise unrelated (Code page 1019).
