Code page 1021 (CCSID 1021),[1] also known asCP1021 orCH7DEC,[2] is anIBM code page number assigned to theSwiss variant ofDEC'sNational Replacement Character Set (NRCS).[3][4][5] The 7-bit character set was introduced for DEC'scomputer terminal systems, starting with theVT200 series in 1983, but is also used by IBM for their DEC emulation. Similar but not identical to the series ofISO 646 character sets, the character set is a close derivation fromASCII with only twelve code points differing.
