Coconut toffee is a traditional chewycandy from thePhilippines made withmuscovado sugar andcoconut milk boiled until thick and then allowed to cool and harden. It is also locally known asbalikutsa in theVisayas andMindanao, andgináok in theTagalog regions.[1][2]

It is similar to thepulot of theWestern Visayas except thatpulot is made withpalm sugar.[3][4]
