Cochliodontiformes are an order of extinctholocephalans (historically referred to asbradyodonts)[1] known from theDevonian,Carboniferous andPermian periods, with the possible member,Listracanthus, known from theEarly Triassic. Members of the order are believed to bedurophagous benthic carnivores.[2][3]
