Coalition of the Oppressed and Deprived (Persian:ائتلاف مستضعفين و محرومين) was thepolitical alliance of threeIranianIslamicleftist groups contesting in the1988 Iranian legislative election. Coalition members wereIslamic Association of Teachers,Worker House andOffice for Strengthening Unity.[1]

The coalition's list forTehran, Rey, Shemiranat and Eslamshahr had 25 shared candidates (out of 30) withAssociation of Combatant Clerics, while they had 9 shared candidates with theCombatant Clergy Association's list.[2]

After the elections, their MPs were allied withAssociation of Combatant Clerics and formed the largest bloc in the parliament.[3]

The coalition claimed advocatingIslamism,social equality,simple living,technocracy andegalitarianism.[2]
