Cloxotestosterone (INNTooltip International Nonproprietary Name),[1] also known as17β-chloral hemiacetal testosterone, is asyntheticanabolic–androgenic steroid (AAS) and anandrogen ether – specifically, the 17β-trichlorohemiacetalether oftestosterone – which was never marketed.[2] TheO-acetateester of cloxotestosterone,cloxotestosterone acetate (brand nameCaprosem), in contrast to cloxotestosterone, has been marketed.[2]
