Clovoxamine (INN; development codeDU-23811) is adrug that was discovered in the 1970s and was subsequently investigated as anantidepressant andanxiolytic agent but was never marketed.[1][2][3] It acts as aserotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), with little affinity for themuscarinic acetylcholine, histamine, adrenergic, andserotoninreceptors.[4][5] The compound isstructurally related tofluvoxamine.
