Clostebol caproate (brand nameMacrobin-Depot), also known asclostebol hexanoate orchlorotestosterone caproate (JAN), as well as4-chlorotestosterone 17β-caproate or as4-chloroandrost-4-en-17β-ol-3-one 17β-caproate, is asynthetic,injectedanabolic-androgenic steroid (AAS) and aderivative oftestosterone.[1][2] It is anandrogen ester – specifically, the C17βcaproateester ofclostebol (4-chlorotestosterone) – and acts as aprodrug of clostebol in the body.[1][additional citation(s) needed] Clostebol acetate is administered viaintramuscular injection.[2][relevant?]
