Cleveland and Whitby was aparliamentary constituency centred on the town ofWhitby in northern England. It returned oneMember of Parliament (MP) to theHouse of Commons of theParliament of the United Kingdom fromFebruary 1974 until it was abolished for the1983 general election.
Cleveland and Whitby largely replaced the previousCleveland constituency. It was defined as covering the urban districts ofGuisborough,Loftus,Saltburn and Marske by the Sea,Skelton and Brotton,Whitby, along withWhitby Rural District.
