TheClemson Tigers track and field team is thetrack and field program that representsClemson University. The Tigers compete inNCAA Division I as a member of theAtlantic Coast Conference. The team is based inClemson, South Carolina at theRock Norman Track & Field Complex.[2]
The program is coached byMark Elliott andVicky Pounds (distance).[3] The track and field program officially encompasses four teams, as the NCAA regards men's and women's indoor track and field and outdoor track and field as separate sports.[4]
Brianna Rollins-McNeal won the 2013 women'sThe Bowerman after establishingcollegiate records in the 60 m hurdles and 100 m hurdles. She is the only Clemson athlete to win the award.[5]
In 2021, plans were announced to discontinue the men's track and cross country teams.[6] After backlash, the plans were walked back five months later.[7]Michael Green has the most individual NCAA titles of any Clemson track and field athlete, with four over the sprints.[8]
The Tigers have had oneAIAW All-American finishing in the top six at theAIAW indoor oroutdoor championships.[9]

As of 2024[update], a total of 67 men and 44 women have achieved individual first-teamAll-American status at themen's outdoor,women's outdoor,men's indoor, orwomen's indoor national championships.[10][11]
