Cleburne Regional Airport (ICAO:KCPT,FAALID:CPT, formerly F18)[2] is a city-owned, public-useairport located two nautical miles (4 km) northwest of thecentral business district ofCleburne, a city inJohnson County, Texas, United States.[1] Formerly known asCleburne Municipal Airport,[3] it is included in theNational Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, whichcategorized it as ageneral aviation facility.[4]
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letterlocation identifier for theFAA andIATA, this airport is assignedCPT by the FAA but has no designation from the IATA[5] (which assignedCPT toCape Town International Airport inSouth Africa).[6]
Cleburne Regional Airport covers an area of 520acres (210ha) at anelevation of 854 feet (260 m) abovemean sea level. It has onerunway designated 15/33 with anasphalt surface measuring 5,697 by 100 feet (1,736 x 30 m).[1]
