Claude Clarence Crabb (March 8, 1940 – February 8, 2021) was an American professionalfootball player who was acornerback in theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theUSC Trojans.
Crabb was a football quarterback, basketball player and track sprinter atMonterey Union High School 1954–58.
He playedcollege football at theUniversity of Colorado after transferring from theUniversity of Southern California and was drafted in the 27th round of the1962 AFL Draft by theBuffalo Bills.
Crabb was adefensive back in theNational Football League for theWashington Redskins (1962–63) where he made six interceptions in 1962,Philadelphia Eagles (1964–65), and theLos Angeles Rams (1966–68).[1]
Crabb died fromCOVID-19 on February 8, 2021, aged 80, during theCOVID-19 pandemic in California.[2][3]
