Clark Mathis (sometimes credited asJ. Clark Mathis) is an Americancinematographer andtelevision director.
As a cinematographer, he photographed a number of notable films. His credits include theDisney Channel original filmGotta Kick It Up! (2002),In the Mix (2005),Rocky Balboa (2006) andBrian Robbins-directed filmsThe Perfect Score (2004),Norbit (2007),Meet Dave (2008) andA Thousand Words (2012), the latter three films starringEddie Murphy.[1] He also photographed for the television seriesCousin Skeeter,The Fugitive,Birds of Prey andLove Bites.
He made his directorial debut with the filmBereft (2004), co-directing with actorTim Daly. Since then he has primarily directed television, directing episodes ofThe Comeback,One Tree Hill,Blue Mountain State,Supah Ninjas andGrimm.[1]
