Claodicus was a co-leader of theCimbri tribe during theCimbrian War, in which the Cimbri won a spectacular victory against theRomans at theBattle of Arausio in 105 BC.^[1] He was captured along withCaesorix at theBattle of Vercellae in 101 BC. The other Cimbrian chiefsBoiorix andLugius were killed on the field.^[2]
