CITYFLO 650signalling is aCBTC system designed byBombardier Transportation and currently produced byAlstom. It makes use of bi-directionalradio communication betweentrains and wayside equipment, as well as truemoving block technology, to control train operation. Trains report their position via radio, and a waysidesignalling system provides movement authorities to the trains via a radio link.
