In theSaisiyat language it is called Katayoe'. The Japanese named it the Nansho Daidai sour orange when theycolonized Taiwan.[1]
Cultivated varieties are primarily found inNanzhuang Township. Additionally they have been planted as part ofreforestation efforts by theForestry and Nature Conservation Agency.[1]
