TheCitroën C-Métisse is aconcept car which was produced by the car manufacturerCitroën in collaboration with coachbuilderStola.[1] It was first introduced in the autumn of 2006 at theParis Motor Show.[2] It has been stated that the reason for creating such a car was to show that anyhybrid car can have the same performance as any petrol or diesel-powered car.
The car is designed as a five-door2+2shooting brake. The first official pictures were revealed in September 2006.[3] This is not the first time thatCitroën has produced ahybrid car; in January 2006, they revealed the hybrid-powered version of theCitroën C4 alongside the hybrid-poweredPeugeot 307.[4] The car can usefront-wheel,rear-wheel andall-wheel drive depending on the situation.
