Chuck Ranberg is an American playwright, producer and screenwriter. He won fivePrimetime Emmy Awards in the categoriesOutstanding Comedy Series andOutstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for his work on the television programFrasier.[1][2]

Ranberg produced and wrote for television programs includingKate & Allie,[3]Becker,Desperate Housewives,The Game andHot in Cleveland.[4] In the 2000s, he wrote the Off-Broadway playEnd of the World Party, starringJim J. Bullock andDavid Drake.[5]

Ranberg is openly[6] gay.[7][8][9][a]
