Christina Daniela Stumpp (born 16 November 1987 inBacknang) is a German politician of theChristian Democratic Union (CDU) who has been serving as aMember of the Bundestag since the2021 elections, representing theWaiblingen district.[1]
From February until September 2021, Stumpp worked as advisor to Baden-Württemberg’s State Minister for Rural Affairs and Consumer ProtectionPeter Hauk.
Ahead of the Christian Democrats’ leadership election in 2022, Stumpp publicly endorsedFriedrich Merz to succeedArmin Laschet as the party’s chair and joined his campaign team.[2] She was later chosen by Merz to be the first DeputySecretary General of theChristian Democratic Union.
