Christianity in Hunan

Christianity is a minority inHunan province of the People's Republic of China. TheRoman Catholic Archdiocese of Changsha, theRoman Catholic Diocese of Changde and theRoman Catholic Diocese of Hengzhou have their seat in the province. The province haspersecution of Christians. Hunan has more than 1000 congregations.[1] TheHunan Bible Institute was founded in 1909.[2]True Jesus Church andThe Shouters are present in the province.[3]China Evangelistic Fellowship andChina Fountain Group had a large following in 2000.[3]
