Chris McAsey (born 1962) is a formerAustralian rules footballer who played withSt Kilda in theVictorian Football League (VFL).[1]

After retiring as a footballer McAsey became a journalist and writer, including forLonely Planet,[2] and then a digital content producer forAFL.com.au andTelstra media.

His son,Fischer McAsey[2] was drafted in the2019 AFL draft byAdelaide.[3]
