Christopher Leon Burkett (born August 21, 1962) is an American former professionalfootball player who was awide receiver in theNational Football League (NFL). He was selected by theBuffalo Bills in the second round of the1985 NFL draft with the 42nd overall pick.[1] Standing at 6'4" and 198-lb. fromJackson State, Burkett played in nine NFL seasons for the Bills and theNew York Jets from 1985 to 1993.[2][3]
Burkett serves as the executive director forBig Brothers Big Sisters ofMississippi[4] and is the founder and CEO of Chrisburkettsports.[5]
